Bike Trip Update - Our bike trip on the New River Trail is this weekend! This is one of our Troop's favorite trips. We will meet at the Scout Hut at 8:00 AM on Saturday to load our bikes, personal gear and Troop equipment. We will be camping on Saturday night at the Foster Falls Mill Race campground. We plan to return mid to late afternoon on Saturday.

If you have not completed your bike safety inspection, you have just a few days remaining to complete this task. Cycletherapy in Lewisville is providing complimentary inspections for our Troop. Your must have completed the safety inspection before departing for this trip.

Reminder: Each rider must have a inner tube that fits the wheels on your bike and the tools necessary to change the tire on YOUR bike if necessary.

Don't forget your trail lunch, trail snacks and water for the trip.

Troop Merit Badge College - Our Troop's Merit Badge College is Saturday, May 7 at the Scout Hut. Sessions begin at 9 a.m. Please plan to arrive by 8:45 AM

The following sessions will be offered. SIgn ups will be at Tuesday's Troop meeting.

Summer Camp - It's time to put the final summer camp plans together and your next payment is NOW DUE.

Also, several Scouts have not submitted their camp merit badge sessions. Tuesday's Troop meeting is the final deadline to submit your selections. Any Scout who does not submit his choices at Tuesday's meeting will have merit badge sessions assigned for him by the Troop Leadership. Final Call.

Medical Forms - It's also past time to submit your annual health and medical record. Only a few Scouts have submitted this important item. Please help YOUR TROOP by submitting this in a timely fashion.

If you are in a situation where you must wait to meet your insurance company's requirement before completing your visit to the doctor, please let us know when we can expect to have your updated health and medical record.

All Scouts and leaders must also submit a copy of their insurance card with their health and safety record.

The Troop 919 Adult Committee will NOT hold its regularly schedueld Committee Meeting on Thursday (April 21). The Troop Committee will hold its next meeting on Thursday, May 19.

Bike Trip Reminder

If you are planning to go on our bike trip at the end of this month, don’t forget to take your bike in for a safety inspection. 

Cycletherapy in Lewisville has offered to perform your safety inspection free of charge. You just have to tell them you are with Troop 919. They are also offering a 10% discount on any purchase.

Spring Break is over and it's time to return to Scouting!

At Tuesday's Troop meeting we'll be taling about our upcoming bike trip.

Summer Camp - We are still missing quite a few summer camp merit badge selections.Please be prepared to work on this at Tuesday's Troop meeting.
