Tonight's Scout Meeting Canceled because of Bad weather
Meetings Cancelled for tonight.
We have decided to cancel tonight's PLC and Troop meeting because of icy road conditions.
We will have the PLC to next week.
Remember Scouting for food will be at 9:00 AM Saturday at the Scout Hut and the Pow-wow will be at 6:00 PM at Second Harvest food bank.

We will meet at the Scout Hut
At 9:00 am Saturday
February 1st.
We will be going into the neighborhoods in our community and placing door hangers that will encourage people to donate food to the local food bank.

At 9:00 am Saturday
February 8th
We will be going into the neighborhoods in our community and picking-up the bags of food left by homeowners.
We will then sort and package the food for delivery to the food bank.

Troop 919 1-27-14 Notes
We will meet at Vienna Fire Dept. Tuesday night for both PLC and Troop meeting.

Klondike Derby: Congratulations to the Wolverine Patrol. They Finished 1st in four events and 2nd place overall.
Troop PLC: January 28st Troop PLC. Please plan on attending if you currently hold a troop of patrol leadership position.
Scouting for food Day 1: February 1st we will be placing door hangers on the houses in our community
Scouting for food Day 2: February 8th we will return to the houses and collect food left by the homeowner. All food will be donated to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank
3rd Annual Pow-wow and Chicken Stew: Sponsored by Elauwit Chapter of Wahissa Lodge February 1st 5-11 PM 2nd Harvest Food Bank 3655 Reed Street W-S Please come and enjoy native Indian dancing, drumming and Chicken stew. Bring your family and friends. The cost of the event will be 5 cans of food to be donated to the food bank.
Scout Sunday’s: Please sign-up this week to help with Scout Sunday at both of our charter churches.

Menu planning/Prepare for Klondike/ Check condition of sleds
Klondike Derby Jan. 17th -19th With little or no snow at Canaan Valley we have decided to attend the Klondike Derby. If you have not sign-up and would like to go please sign-up at this week’s meeting.

Happy New Year! We start back with meetings this week.
Snow camping: Jan. 18th -20th Sign-up at this week’s meeting we are closely monitoring the snow levels at Canaan Valley state park in West Virginia.
