Program: History of Stone Mountain/outerwear

Intro to cold weather camping: December 13-15 We will have our going to Stone mountain state park for intro to cold weather camping. This trip is a requirement to go on the snow camping trip in January. Please sign-up this week so we can make reservations.

Christmas Family:

We have elected to sponsor a Christmas Family this year. This is a great way to support our community and help others in need. The needs list for the family is attached. Please send Stan Gordon an E-mail when you purchase something for the family or want to check to see what items have been bought. Please wrap the gifts and place the person’s name on a tag. Package Delivery December 21 8:30 AM. We will helping the Department of Social services with gift delivery for a program called RAPP (Relative Assistance Parenting Program) we need drivers and Scouts to deliver gifts though-out the area.

Program: Cold weather gear/Menu Planning.

Raven Knob Cripple Creek camping: November 22-24. We will meet at the Scout Hut at Friday 5:30 PM. Please eat before arriving or bring your supper with you. If you have not signed-up please do so at this week’s meeting. We plan on using the new climbing tower and the Adults we be feeding everyone Saturday night.
