Troop Ski Trip At Winterplace
This is a great opportunity to learn how to ski; you get a lesson, lunch and all the fun you can handle.
We will be having sign-ups for the Ski event at Winterplace Ski resort
The date of the trip will be 2-10-13
Final sign-up and money is due at the 1-29-13 Troop meeting.

Scouting for food Bag drop off
We will meet Saturday 2-2-13 at 9:30 am at the Scout hut to receive bags and a route. We will need drivers so come and help.

Scouting for food Bag pick-up
We will meet Saturday 2-9-13 at 9:30 am at the Scout hut to pick-up food bags and organize food for delivery to the food bank. We will need drivers so come and help.

Scout Sunday at Brookstown United Methodist Church 2-3-13
We will meet at the church at 10:00 am. Class A Uniform
We need Scouts to be a part of the service. Please sign-up with Daniel Pedan at Tuesday's meeting

Annual POW-WOW and Chicken stew at 2nd Harvest food bank
This event is open to everyone, Come out and eats chicken stew and learns about Indian dance and drum Admission is just 5 cans of food to be donated to the food bank.

Scout Sunday at Olivet Moravian Church 2-2413
We will meet at the church at 10:00 am. Class A Uniform

We have decided to cancel this weekend’s camping trip.
After a review of the conditions and the possible risk to the members of the troop we have decided to cancel the event this weekend.

The Klondike Derby has been postponed because of weather concerns:
 
The troop will camp this weekend at Camp Raven Knob
 
We will meet at the Scout Hut at 9:30 am Sat.
We will continue to watch the weather and make adjustments as needed.

Troop Skiing at Winterplace

 

Troop Ski Trip At Winterplace
 
This is a great opportunity to learn how to ski, you get a lesson, lunch and all the fun you can handle.
We will be having sign-ups for the Ski event at Winterplace Ski resort
The date of the trip will be 2-10-13
Final sign-up and money is due at the 1-29-13 Troop meeting.
 
 
 
SKI PACKAGE:
Our 2013 Winterplace Ski Package includes an all day lift ticket, rental equipment (Skiers only with helmet), meal voucher, and a 90-minute lesson for only $55.00 per participant. This special rate is only available to those who pre-register through the Old Hickory Council office 10 days prior  to attending this event. Late registration or walk-in rate will be $60.00 per participant. Extra meal vouchers will be available for parents and guests not participating for only $6.00 at the check-in table.
 
SNOWBOARD PACKAGE:
Winterplace Snowboard Package includes an all day lift ticket, rental equipment (with helmet), meal voucher, and a 90-minute lesson for only $94.00 per participant. This special rate is only available to those who pre-register through the Old Hickory Council office 10 days prior to attending this event. Late registration or walk-in rate will be $100.00 per participant. Extra meal vouchers will be available for parents and guests not participating for only $6.00 at the check-in table.
 
SNOW TUBING PACKAGE:
Winterplace Snow Tubing Package includes all day tubing + meal voucher for only $44.00 per participant (helmet not included, but available for addt’l $6.00 upon request). Tubing add-on tickets for skiers or snowboarders will be available for an additional $13.50 for 2 hours, payable in advance or the day of the event. Extra meal vouchers will be available for parents and guests not participating for only $6.00 at the check-in table. Units wishing to pay in advance for tubing should use the tubing pre-registration form and not the ski pre-registration form.
