Troop 919 Message From Camp Raven Knob

Hello from Camp Raven Knob!

We are looking forward to our families joining us on Wednesday night for our Troop family pot luck dinner picnic and the Wednesday night campfire in the OA Arena.

While we enjoy the Camp Raven Knob dining hall, we especially look forward to "special food" our families bring up on Wednesday.

There is a brand new Scout Troop in camp this week and we have extended the Scouting hand of fellowship to our new brothers and would like to encourage our families to bring a little extra food with them on Wednesday. We will have about 18 additional guests at our picnic!

The campfire will begin about 7:45 p.m. and we hope to begin eating at 6:00 p.m. sharp. Our campsite is the Apache campsite and Camp Raven Knob is about a one hour ride from Winston Salem.

Feel free to drive to the Apache campsite, which is just past the Nature Area and "in the valley."

The best option will be to move your car to an area near the trading post after our picnic and before the campfire begins. Traffic will not be allowed to drive past the arena once the campfire starts.

See you on Wednesday.
