Brookstown United Methodist Church Picnic Pavilion

 

 

The burgers and hot dogs will be provided by our good friends at Wilson’s Garage and our Troop patrols are asked to bring the drinks, sides and fixin’s.

 

Patrol Assignments

Raven: Drinks

Meese: Side Dishes

B’s: Side Dishes

Nighthawks: Side Dishes

Andy Harmon is beginning the long road to recovery from his traffic accident and hopes to be released from the hospital by this weekend. The Harmons are very grateful for all of the prayers, visits and well wishes during this experience and as Chuck said “We love all of you!” If you would like to send Andy a Get Well wish, his address is:

Rafting Trip

If you signed up for the rafting trip last Tuesday here is some important information.

Cost: $50.00

(Money needs to be collected at Tuesday night’s Meeting)

Departure time

8:30 am Aug.18 at the Scout hut

Everyone must have a waiver signed before we leave the Scout Hut

Form is attached

Menu planning Tuesday night, patrols members are responsible for the cost of the meals

Troop 919 Notes 8-4-12

 

Welcome back !   8-7-12 Regular meetings start this Tuesday night 7:30.  Please bring you Scout book so any requirements completed at summer camp can be recorded.

Whitewater Rafting Trip    8-18-12 thru 8-19-12   we will have whitewater rafting trip information and sign-ups at  the scout meeting. Please be prepared to commit to going on the trip we will need a firm headcount.

PLC   8-14-12 next Tuesday 6:30 PM. All scouts in leadership positions are expected to attend. We will be planning the meetings for the next month.

OA     Wahissa Lodge just returned from the National Order of Arrow Conference Held at Michigan State University. Many members of our troop attended this event. The lodge was very successful in winning Two National Championship titles

OA Ordeals this weekend at Raven Knob. If you are a member please try to attend and provide service to the camp.
