Troop Rafting Trip
Shoes: You MUST have a pair of shoes that you're going to wear while on the water. These can be water shoes, or an old pair of sneakers, but they must be something that will stay attached ot your feet (no flip-flops) and can get wet.
Clothes: Have a set of dry clothes, that you're going to keep dry, i.e. in a drybag, ziplock bag, etc. for when we come off the water. Bring your swimsuit and a towel as we will be enjoying the lake Saturday afternoon!
Money: Bring money for food on the road. We will be stopping on the way up for lunch, and on the way back for dinner. Plan on $5 - $10 each meal, will probably be fast food.
Sunscreen: bring it. The water will reflect a lot of sunshine onto you. Be prepared.
ACE Rafting as indicated we’ll be out on the water for ~6 hours. Figuring time for packing back up, drive time, plus time to stop and get a bit, puts us at ~8:15 arrival time back at the scout hut.
Do NOT forget your waivers. I have not received waiver forms yet for the following people: Andy Carr, Andrew Carr, Mac Smith, Mac McCormick, Connor Warlow, Tyler Warlow. If you do not have your waiver with you Saturday morning, you cannot participate in the activities.

Troop Meeting
7:30 PM Scout Hut
Summer camp:
If you went to summer camp and need to see what requirements are needed for incomplete merit badges please see Mr. Scott or Mr. Brewer.
Rafting Trip:
Everyone going on the rafting trip Payment is due Tuesday night $50.00 Attached are two release forms they must be turned in before you will be allowed to leave Saturday morning. (Please turn these in Tuesday night) Remember to bring money for lunch on the way up and supper on the way home.
Troop PLC:
PLC will be 8-20-13 at 6:30PM Please plan on attending if you hold a leadership position in the troop or patrol.
Court of Honor:
All merit badges and rank advancements (including Scoutmaster Conference and Board of Review need to be complete by meetings end 8-20-13). Everything completed after that date will be held until the next Court of Honor.
OA members:
Congratulations to our Troop’s new OA members. Please try to attend the second Ordeal August 23rd -25th.
Ordeal weekend is great opportunity to give back to Camp Raven Knob. Please plan on going up to camp and helping.

to help spread mulch in the playground
and around the church.
We will meet at 6:00 PM tomorrow at the church,before our meeting
to help and show
our appreciation for their support of our troop.
We will then walk down the Scout Hut for our meeting.
Please bring gloves,water,and a garden rake
