Troop Popcorn Sales: How much Popcorn have you sold? Please tell Mr. Essex you sell numbers each week, so we can start tallying numbers. It will be very important for each scout to get out and sell popcorn. Popcorn sale money is used to support our Scout Hut (utilities, upkeep). Each scout befits from troop paid activities and scout accounts. Our sales also help at a council level to provide for programs. All popcorn sheets are Due November 4th.
Court of Honor: Court of honor will be November 11th. Please sign-up for a board of review is you need one for rank advancement. All merit badges and Rank advancements must be turning in to Mr. Scott This by the November 4th meeting.
Troop elections: Troop elections will be held November 18th if you plan on running for Asst. Senior Patrol leader a Scoutmaster conference is required prior to the 18th.
Troop Camping Trip: November 21st-23rd Outdoor Cooking is the theme for the November camping trip. We will be stay in at Crazy Horse campsite at Raven Knob. We will cooking using Dutch ovens and campfire.

Troop Program: GPS Training/Menu planning/gear preparation.
Troop Camping trip: October 24th– 26th we will meet at the Scout hut a 5:30 PM Friday. We will return before noon on Sunday. Please eat supper before arriving at the Scout hut. We will camp a Raven Knob in the Cripple Creek area. The theme of the weekend will be land Navigation. We will practice using Map/Compass, GPS and set-up an orienteering course. It’s going to be a great weekend.

Summer camp Merit badges: Please continue to work on any leftover merit badges from camp. We would like to have them all complete by our November Court of Honor..

Present Delivery and Troop Family: We will delivering presents and supporting a family in need this year during Christmas season. We will have more information in the coming weeks.

Schedule change: Please note a date change for October’s camping trip. We will move the trip to Oct 24th-26th. The main reason for the change, Parent/son camping for the cub scouts at Raven Knob is the weekend of the 17th The change will allow our OA members the opportunity to participate in that event.
